The Former Governor To Replace Buhari In 2019 Begins Campaign

The campaign posters for the 2019 presidential election of former Jigawa governor, Sule Lamido, have surfaced. 

The former governor has been at the
forefront of those showing their interest to run for the presidency in 2019 and replace President Muhammadu Buhari.

According to NAIJ.com, his campaign posters were seen at the Peoples Democratic Party secretariat in Lagos and that he has received the backing of some northern elders. Lamido 2019 presidency project was said to be championed by some northerners who were PDP members in Lagos state.

 One of them, Hassan Mohammed, an official of the party at Ikeja Ward I said they were calling on Lamido to contest because they believed he had the capacity to rule the country. 

IS he the man to replace President Buhari in 2019? 

Mohammed said: “We have seen his performance as governor of Jigawa state for eight years. He is indeed a man of the people and he has that pedigree and reputations to fly the party’s flag come 2019.”
