This is to notify the general public that the Deputy Governor of Rivers State of Nigeria, Her Excellency, Dr (Mrs.) Ipalibo Harry Banigo, does NOT use ANY of her social media platforms to solicit funds or any form of support from any
individual or organization.
Any occurrence of such should be reported immediately to the police or a message sent to thenewriversstate2015@gmail.com.
Members of the public are hereby advised to ignore and report any suspicious message from social media accounts claiming to belong to the Deputy Governor, especially in the guise of offering assistance, empowerment, loans, contracts, etc, as such activities are done through proper channels in Rivers State, and NOT ON SOCIAL MEDIA.
Also, this serves as a WARNING for perpetrators of impersonation and cyber fraud in Rivers State, to desist NOW or face the full wrath of the law.
