To prevent hackers from having access to your Facebook account, all you need is to take some preemptive measures. Some of the common techniques hackers use is by accessing recognized devices stored on your Facebook account, or by
phishing pages; hackers use this to send a login page of your Facebook, and it will look exactly the same way as Facebook login page.
What am about to share with you now will get hackers thinking, because it leaves no loop holes.
After you follow these simple guidelines, anybody that wants to hack your Facebook account will have to go through you directly.
Step 1.
Log into your Facebook account.
Step 2
Click on the "Home button". See example below.
Step 3
Scroll down and click on "Account settings"
Step 4
Click on "Security"
Step 5
Check the box "Login approval on"- see below.
After you check the box, next click "Start Setup" you'll be asked next to acknowledge it by clicking continue; this requires that you've already added your number on your Facebook profile, if not, go back to your timeline, click "About", next click "Contact info", click edit, add your phone number and continue the process.
After you clicked continue, a conformation code will be sent to the number provided.
Step 6
Enter the code and click "Continue - the next page acknowledges your request, however, you have a choice to turn off the "Login Approval" without a code for the first week by just clicking "Close", or
Step 7
Check the box "No thanks" require a code right away before clicking "Close"

Step 8
Click on "Recognized Devices" - just in case you're logged in from other devices in the past that might have stored your password, if there are any recognized devices, quickly delete them and go back to your "Security" panel.
Step 9
Click on "Active Session" - in case your Facebook account is still logged in in other devices, if you see an unfamiliar device or location, remove it to end its session.
Step 10
Log out of facebook- go back to the home button, scroll down and click log out.
Step 11
Re-login again into Facebook.
Step 12
Enter the code sent to your phone and click "Submit Code"
Step 13
In the next page, click on "Don't save" and click "Continue - with this, you will have to repeat this process each time you try to login to Facebook. If you click save browser, you won't have to provide any login code each time you try to login to Facebook, which will still leave you open to risk of been hacked.
So, I'll advise, click on "Don't Save" and click "Continue and you are logged into Facebook.
That simple, now you are free from hackers.

Like I said earlier, turning on your "Login Approval" leaves no loop holes, if any unrecognized device(s) tries to log in to your Facebook account, you'll get a notification. See below.
Note: If you don't get your "login Approval" code almost immediately, if you are using browser, click on "Didn't receive a code?", Next click on "Text me a login code", then close the dialogue box.
If you are using Facebook App, click on "Having Trouble", but, usually, the Approval code comes almost immediately for the App, except for browser that sometimes may take longer time.
I hope this article helps you to understand better how to prevent your Facebook account from hackers. If you find this piece resourceful, kindly share it on Goggle plus and Facebook to create more social awareness.
