A Step By Step Guide On How To Change Your Password On Gmail





If your gmail account is been compromised and you want to change your password, these simple guide
will help.

Desktop Version

If you're on desktop view, follow these simple steps.

Step 1.
Log into your gmail account.

Step 2.
On the top right of your dashboard, just below the address bar, click on your image if you've added your photo, if not click on your gmail address before the setting icon. See example below.

Step 3.

Click on "My Account"

Step 4.
Click on "Signing in to Google"

Step 5
Click on "Password"

Step 6
Enter you recent password to continue

Step 7
Enter your new password and click on "Change password"
Thats it, you're done.

Mobile Version

If you are on mobile view, here's the steps to follow.

Step 1.
Log in to your gmail account.

Step 2.
On the right end at the top, click on the setting icon. See example below.

Step 3.
Click on "Help and Feedback"

Step 4.
Click on "Help"

Step 5
After you clicked on "Help", it will take you to a new page on that page, click on "Setting" and next click on "Account settings"

Step 6
Click on "Change or reset your Google account password"

Step 7.
Click on "Change password"

Step 8.
Click on "Sign into My Account"

Step 9
Follow step 4, 5, 6 and 7 on desktop view to complete the process.

Basic HTML Version

If you are on HTML view, follow these steps.

Step 1.
On the top right corner, click on "Account"

Step 2
Follow through step 4, 5, 6, and 7 on the desktop view to complete the process. Thats it, you're done.
