MEET OUR NIGERIAN TOP CAT :- buhari, fighting crime and corruption.
"Top CAT gets all the bad GUYS, but he never gets a RAT!" - ebikefe
When i was small, the America i knews was dished out to me from cartoons i watched, like the famouse "Top Cat" series where life in a New York alley (NIGERIA) never has much fun as in this 1961 animated series that follows the many get-rich-quick schemes of a band of streetwise felines (corruption).
The story goes thus, that Top Cat, a clever hustler (#buhari) whose close friends get to call him TC, leads his faithful followers (#APC) Benny the Ball-Ameachi, Choo Choo-Lai Mohammed, Brain- Fashola, Fancy-Fancy-Adeosun and Spook-Ngige in assorted scams, gambling activities and harebrained stunts, all in the pursuit of a fast dollar.
Keeping an eye on things is Officer Dibble (#the_law), a beat cop who has his hands full trying to break up TC's shenanigans.
FOOT NOTE :- In Nigeria today, our president prides himself as fighting corruption in a must win war to change Nigeria. His message is clear, but his instrumentality is a problem and all the good people of Nigeria awaits results in this anti-corruption fight.
Are we wining it as Top Cat does it in the alley or are we dancing to the gallery?
Ebikefe.
